 10 Step Carpet Cleaning Process:
1. Pre-Inspection
Our carpet cleaning technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results, as well as listen to any concerns you may have.
2. Good Carpet Cleaners Love to Vacuum
Imagine adding water to a glass full of dirt, that dirt would turn into mud, and this is what happens with carpet cleaning. Dry soil is easier to remove with a commercial vacuum cleaner. We dry vacuum thoroughly especially in heavy traffic lanes.
3. Furniture Moving
We are happy to move furniture to one side, however we would prefer customers to remove breakable items. Regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items. If you require heavier pieces of furniture such as beds, dressing tables to be moved, this would be an additional cost. One of our consultants can quote the exact cost to move any heavier pieces.
4. Pre-spray
Eco-friendly, safe, effective carpet & upholstery cleaning agents are applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough clean. There are extra cost treatments for urine and general deodorizing.
5. Pre-spot & stain removal
Most spots and stains can easily be removed using our normal cleaning process. However, some stubborn spots and stains will require special attention, there may be an additional charge for these. We will also make you aware of any stains that are permanent.
6. Pre-grooming/Agitation
We use a CRB (contra-rotating brush) machine for agitating pre-sprays prior to wet extraction. CRB machines lift and restore the carpet pile, while agitating to thoroughly detach soiling from the fibres. Extraction is then quick and easy with fewer passes and less water needed, resulting in a drier carpet. After agitating with a CRB machine, the carpet often already looks clean.
7. Soil Extraction and Rinse
After the pre-spray has been allowed sufficient dwell time, we will extract your carpet using the hot water extraction method also known as Steam Cleaning with our high powered industrial grade carpet cleaning machine. Without over wetting, our rinse is specially formulated to leave your carpet and upholstery residue free, so it stays cleaner longer and feels softer.
8. Post Groom
Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer, so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.
9. Speed Dry
When necessary, we use high velocity industrial air movers that are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying.
10. Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
